Apple Blocks Phonebook Sim iPhone Activations

Bad news for the jailbreak community. Apple has blocked phonebook sims from being able to activate iphones when you connect to itunes. What exactly does that have to do with us? This will mainly affect those who use unlocked iphones using a jailbreak or those who buy second hand iphones without official sims.

In the past you were able to use a cheap phonebook sim card to activate all iphones regardless of where you were in the world. Now you must have an official sim card accepted by the iPhone to activate your iphone past the connect to itunes screen. The cat and mouse game continues.
