Apple To Present At Black Hat Security Conference for The First Time Ever

According to Bloomberg, Apple is planning to give a presentation at the Black Hat Security Conference. This will be it’s first ever appearance at the event.

It seems like the rising malicious attacks against OS X has gotten Apple’s attention. You may have heard of Apple removing a key statement on their mac product page.

Regardless the reasoning we’re glad to see Apple finally participating in one of the worlds most popular hacking conferences in the world. Apple reportedly backed out of presenting back in 2008 due to leaked scheduling.

Bloomberg Reports:

Apple, now the world’s most valuable company, has had no problem snubbing a community whose aim is to unearth its vulnerabilities. That will change Thursday when Dallas De Atley, manager of Apple’s platform security team, is scheduled to give a presentation on key security technologies within iOS, the operating system for iPhones and iPads.
