Apple is once again upgrading their entire OS X operating system. The update will bring many iOS like features to your computer such as reminders, notifications, and iMessaging.

We believe many of you will love the new Messages app Apple is including into OS X Mountain Lion. With the Messages you will be able to send iMessages to the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch for free.

You can download the Messages Beta for Mac here. Take note that after installing Messages the iChat application will be replaced but you will still be able to use iChat services.
