With the untethered jailbreak ready for all iOS devices except the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S Pod2g is hard at work. He finally had time to write up a blog post and told the jailbreak community the following:
Here are the news of the 4S week-end.
The untether fails right now because I’m having processor cache issues.
I’m close, but I can’t figure out what happens. It certainly has something to do with the Cortex-A9 cache management.
I could sort it out quick, it’s a matter of chance.
I’ll report you my progress tomorrow.
While jailbreaking the iPhone 4S is failing because of technical difficulties be rest assured it’s coming soon. To stay up to date with the latest developments check out Pod2G’s iOS blog.
Who knows, we might get an untethered jailbreak for all iOS devices on Christmas?
