HTC/Apple Patent Ruling Delayed For Second Time

Apple has a patent suit pending against HTC for violations against one of Apple’s patents.  The judgement, already delayed once, was supposed to be handed down today by the ITC, however HTC are reporting that it has now been delayed for a second time.

If the judgement is made in favour of Apple then it would mean huge consequences for HTC in the form of a ban of import of it’s products into the US.  HTC is also suing Apple for breach of several its patents which if decided in their favour would mean a huge step forward in their suit for violations against trademarks.

The original judgement was supposed to be made on December 6th and with a second delay shows how difficult the ITC is finding it to come to a decision.
