If you haven’t heard yet, At&t is currently in the process of purchasing Tmobile for 39 billion dollars. Basically all those 4g commercials matter no more as a year from now At&t users will be using the same 4g technology Tmobile put up.

No….I’m not sure how this can happen possibly so fast without as much scrutiny as it should have. Competition is good for the consumer, and Tmobile was the only big GSM competitor around. Look at the Sirius/Xm Radio merger and how long that took to happen, looks like ATT is lining the right pockets on the hill
Once again the govt will probably screw the tiny consumer and reward the big company and let them play their game of price fixing and limiting our usage of “public bandwidth”…
And don’t think it was just a coincidence that the Market had a mini rally the Monday after this merger was announced after all that bad news about Lybia and the Tsunami…
Money talks folks, and their are even conspiracists around who say that ATT doesn’t even care if it happens in full, but are after the bandwidth and may even leave some customers out in the cold.
