iOS 5.1.1 Untethered Jailbreak Release Only Days Away

Pod2G recently thanked @planetbeing and @pimskeks two prominent iOS hackers for helping prepare the new iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak.

We recently reported that the jailbreak will be released sometime during Europe’s HITB Security Conference which begins tomorrow. The conference will be host to the “2012 iOS Jailbreak Dream Team” recently acknowledged by Apple.

Thanks to awesome work of @planetbeing and @pimskeks, we’re near ready for a release. Now it’s a matter of days.

The new jailbreak will be reportedly compatible with all iOS devices other than the newest Apple Tv.
