Chronicwire reports that Apple has been testing it’s final version of iOS 5.1 that past few weeks. Going through a rigorous quality assurance test iOS 5.1 should be make it’s debut tomorrow during the iPad 3 announcement with a release to the public soon after.
iOS 5.1 is said to bring Siri support for the Japanese language and will also offer a quicker easier method to open the camera from the lockscreen.
There are also two unknown new features that are said to be included in the new iOS update that haven’t been leaked. The build number for iOS 5.1 golden master is 9B176.
The Gold Master build of iOS 5.1 has been in a vigorous quality assurance phase for the past three weeks, with extensive testing being done internally by Apple as well as by various carriers/partners.
It is rumored to have added Japanese language support in Siri, as well as an easier method of accessing the camera from the lock screen, and at least two other new features that have not been publicly leaked.
