Keep Jailbreaking Legal – DMCA Excemption Is Going To Expire!!!!

Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) won an exemption from the DMCA to specifically highlight that jail breaking was not an infringement of Apple’s copyright laws and hence making it legal.  However, that exemption is coming to it’s expiry date and it’s time now for the jailbreak community to get together and to make our voices heard.

EFF has specifically asked the whole jailbreak community to post their comments at copyright.gov and have also asked users to first read through their advice as to what each user should say in their comments.

Here’s EFF’s GUIDE TO KEEPING  JAILBREAKING LEGAL COMMENTS;

and her is www.copyright.gov – where you can input the comments.

Everyone we all need to stick together on this one, so not only should you fill this out but you should also email everyone you know, Skype, Facebook, whatsapp, everything you possibly can do to get this out there.  The more people who petition the more chance of success we will have.

You have until Feburary 5th, 5.00pm Eastern Time to submit your comments, so no stalling.  If you miss out, then your submission could be the one that could’ve swayed it in our favour!
