According to today’s leaked sim card tray Apple does indeed plan to use the newer smaller nano-sim as rumored months ago.
Last month Apple was said to be providing it’s carrier partners with nano-SIM adapters for testing purposes. Nowhereelse.fr also posted a picture of a supposed home button that comes from the yet to be released iPhone.

This novelty was still a rumor a few days of this he has somehow been confirmed by the sudden and large orders of Nano SIM performed by all French operators for the launch of new iPhone .
