With Apple’s new iOS 4.3 firmware update came a new security feature called ASLR (address space layout randomization). Basically it randomizes where data is and makes it harder for malicious attacks and such to get through and work. The jailbreak scene was quick to find out that ASLR broke mobilesubstrate in iOS 4.3 making jailbreaking your idevice pointless.
With mobilesubstrate broken no 3rd party tweaks would work such as folder enhancer, BiteSMS, Lockinfo, etc.. Yeah it seemed that hope was lost but as usual Jay Freeman (Saurik) to the rescue. A MobileSubstrate updated was recently put on the net to fix the ASLR issues and we will now have a fully working iOS 4.3 jalibreak.
Although not an official update in cydia you can download the updated MobileSubtrate below and install it via ifile or terminal on your jailbroken iOS 4.3 firmware device.
