NBC has announced that it will be live streaming the 2012 London Olympics via two Adobe-powered mobile apps. The NBC Olympics Live Companion app will show you stats of the Olympic games as to compliment your television viewing experience.
The NBC Olympics Live Extra app will give you actual live video streams of the Olympic games while on the go. Both apps are said to launch sometime today in the App Store so keep your eyes peeled.
To make it as easy as possible, you only need to go through the sign-in once and won’t have to “re-authenticate” every time you want to watch a live event,” explained Adobe on its Digital Media Blog. “For the first time in Olympics history, mobile apps will give you the opportunity to view live broadcasts of all Olympic events in the palm of your hand.”
