No iPhone 5 Until 2012?

What, seriously Apple you can’t possibly break the routine! We all know Apple’s yearly WWDC means we get a peak at the next generation iphone but this year that may not happen. Loopinsight is reporting that this years WWDC to be held in June will be all software talk and no iPhone 5.

So basically this sucks as we won’t be getting a new toy to play with this fall. I guess we can cope with a new software update but it better bring awesome new features other than cloud based music storing..

So Apple. I swear I’ll switch to Android if you don’t make a new iPhone. All I care about is better hardware.

Yer totally making stuff up. Just because no announcement at WWDC doesn't mean a fall 2011 phone won't be released.
If they waited until WWDC 2012, everyone would come off contract and there could potentially be a mass exodus to Android and carrier switches.
No way this is happening. Even if the iphone 5 is nothing more than a bigger screen, fast proc and more ram, they will shove it out in 2011.

  3. I would take iOS 5 on a sleek iPhone 4 anyday over a battery hogging dual core Android. Dual core iPhone equals <3

I think there won't be an iphone until fiscal yr 2012, which starts september 2011

This is probably just a trick to slow down the rumor mill. But it won’t, the rumors will keep coming in.
