A lot of people are commenting on TheiPhoneSpot’s new layout and look. Some people like it and some people don’t which is completely understandable. The old layout had been around for almost a year without change and then out of no no where BAM you visit the site and it just looks weird.
A lot of us don’t like change, I myself didn’t like it at first but I am learning to deal with it. The new layout brings multiple features the old site didn’t have such as:
- Less server load as it is coded better resulting in faster loading for browsers.
- Similar posts feature allows for viewing of things you may have missed
- Highlights and Scrolling Featured News, Brings more pics to front page looks nicer
- Light and Dark layout to choose to your liking
- Categories and Pages are organized a lot better
Overall a great new layout and I hope everyone enjoys it and sticks around. All I want and intend to do is keep my readers and followers informed with the latest news, hacks, and k’s from around the idevice scene. Now on to the poll:

jus seems like a gamespot rip-off
Old one only seemed better as it had all the recent information right in front of your eyes – and the timescale was from new to old. This is good though, especially if you know how to navigate the site. TBH I think that the whole look of this site is very good, I can understand why others think the old site was better, but this one is so similar to it. I really like the 'news flash' with the top four posts.
Maybe if you removed the orange from the site, and went back to grey, white and blue then people might change their minds.
Whatever the site is, you're doing an awesome job just keeping it up and running. And everyone should be grateful for the info you provide them with!
