This is officially the worst theme ever created for the iphone. For use with winterboard this theme comes with custom 32 beautifully crafted icons a gorgeous background, and nifty little slider :0 the theme is available on the modmyi repo. The idea came from Pumpa & Serenity and with the help of Treason, Pad4651, Carrbone, Mysterious404, stony, and r0bop0lo this artistic theme became a possibility

Go ahead and check it out, you can sure make some jokes with your friends about your bad-a new theme and how its the most original lol.

We just got the announcement, iPhone OS 3.0 is coming. Set your clocks, mark your calendars. It’s going down March 17th. Apparently, we’ll get a sneak peak at the new OS, as well as a look at a brand new version of the SDK. Exciting stuff indeed, and we’ll be there live at 10am PST (1pm EST) with the liveblog. Apple’s calling this an “advance preview of what we’re building,” so we’re not expecting anything ready to go as of the 17th, but hopefully this will allow developers to start building toward future functionality (hey, how about some push notifications?), and presumably users won’t have too many months to wait after that for the real deal.

Well here it is guys the crack for ibluetooth thanks to oronav.

If you like the app buy it guys so the dev will add more features. As of right now the app only supports the obex file transfer which is the one everyone uses to send pics ringtones and such. The developer medevil is working on adding 27 more profiles to the bluetooth stack but needs to make money so support him if you want to receive updates and more features for iBluetooth.

Here are the steps to get the app to work
1. Remove the iBluetooth App
2. Install it again
3. Rename the original iBluetooth_ to OLDiBluetooth_ by using an SFTP client like transmit for mac or winscp for windows
4. Copy the cracked iBluetooth_ to /var/stash/Applications/iBluetooth.app using the sftp client
5. Here is the important step: Don’t change permission using the sftp client (winscp or transmit) use Terminal or putty and ssh to your device
6. SSh to your device as root password is alpine
7. go to directory /var/stash/Applications/iBluetooth.app
8. type chmod 7777 iBluetooth_
9. Reboot your device

again this is only the way I got it to work with no bluetooth stack error.

All you have to do is go into the folders and ssh the ibluetooth_ file into root/applications/iBluetooth.app folder and leave the permissions the way they are

Edit: For those of you still having problems with ibluetooth there is one last fix I have. What you do is re-install ibluetooth and open the app and tap on get license. you should get a demo license which says your trial is over in 5 or 7 days I don’t remember. After you have activated the demo license apply the crack and see if it works. If it still cannot activate the bluetooth stack I guess we have to wait for an update and hope the dev fixes it. By the way I already bought it so we can get more features ” I want to use my bluetooth stereo headphones “

Swirly

Ok so some people are having problems with the earlier crack and some aren’t. If the first crack is working for you then i suggest you stick with what you have. Also to let you guys know the time cheat crack works the best and allows full functionality of swirly with no problems. Now on to the fix Br0x has tried to fix some of the problems people were having with the first crack so follow these instructions below.

Instruction:
1. Remove Swirly using Cydia
2. download file: http://www.mediafire.com/?rmjty34rgmm
3. unzip it
4. copy the mms.deb and mmslang.deb to your iphone (to any folder just remember it)
5. using ssh connect to iphone and issue:
cd folder_where_you_copied_deb_files <enter>
dpkg -i mms.deb mmslang.deb <enter>
reboot <enter>
6. Wait till iphone reboots and run Swirly – check sending and recieving

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present the Swirly 1.3.2 Crack by Br0x over at xsellize.

This installation is for advanced users so if you don’t understand this then don’t try it and stick with the swirly you got.

If you want to install it by yourself please do the following:
1. uninstall Swirly using Cydia or by issuing: apt-get remove com.swirlyspace.mms
2. delete /Applications/SwirlyMMS.app and /var/root/Library/MMSApp folders by:
rm -R /Applications/SwirlyMMS.app (or ssh and find the folder to delete)
rm -R /var/root/Library/MMSApp (or ssh and find the folder to delete)
3. copy mms.deb and mmslang.deb to your iphone (to i.e. /var/root/… folder) or where you want.
4. go to the folder /var/root (where you copied the mms.deb and mmslang.deb files) using cd i.e. cd /var/root
5. and type this command—–dpkg -i mms.deb mmslang.deb
6. Wait till it installs there should be NO ERRORS!
7. Issue:reboot
8. After reboot run SwirlyMMS
9. You have to actually “fetch a license” and it will become “Full License Valid”

This is quite interesting. The phone’s below are what look like prototypes of the original apple iphone running iphone os beta software. The seller of this item says that these were manufactured in week 49 of the year 2006 (Info from serial number YM649xxxxx). This is a nice find for those hardcore iphone and apple fans. I’m still amazed at the fact that the iphone was probably in development for a long time, probably a long time before these were made. Below are the specs, video, and pics of the phones.

Phone #1:
-Powers on OK – GSM service works
-Plastic matte screen (see pics)
-Serial number YM649xxxxxx which corresponds to a factory in China, manufactured week 49 of the year 2006.
-Runs iPhone OS 03.06.01_G (iPhone Launch OS 1.0 was version 03.11.02_G)
-Good cosmetic condition

Phone #2:
-Doesn’t turn on (tried leaving on charger for awhile, along with various reset procedures)
-Glass screen
-Serial number YM650xxxxxx which corresponds to a factory in China, manufactured week 50 of the year 2006. (The iPhone was announced on Jan 6 2007 and release June 29 2007.)

The phone that works is pretty neat to use. It does make calls(with my ATT sim), and I can surf the net.  However when I did get to web pages they were the mobile versions, not the regular versions.  I can’t figure out how to set a ringtone, it is just silent right now.   I can receive SMS but not compose my own, other than 5 included test messages. It doesn’t sync to itunes. Camera seems to work. It has tons of testing options.

Also, the working phone has several interesting subtitles that alternate on the screens including:

So the up and coming ireal lite which was mentioned a week earlier is going to be released pretty soon. For those of you who want something similar to quicksms and don’t want another sms app, you should check this out. It is made by a developer who is hard at work and developed the first quickreply app. I guess after everyone copying his quick-reply feature on their own sms app he decided he would use the quicksms idea anyhow it should be a small price to pay maybe around $6.00 so it will be a lot cheaper than quicksms which still has a lot of bugs.

NOTE: It should come out sometime later in the day or tonight so just keep refreshing cydia if you can’t wait to purchase this app.

The No Calendar Date application is a mod that will remove the date from the calendar icon on your SpringBoard. As the developer mentions in the More Info, this is nice for themes that have smaller icons…most likely for those of you using the FiveIrows mod or the FCSB mod. When you install the No Calendar Date application, it will be added into WinterBoard where it can then be activated/deactivated. In order for it to display correctly, you will want to move it above your theme in the WinterBoard list. Screenshots below.

Developer implements New System That “Knows” if your using his cracked app.

Right from the beginning, where there was paid software, there have been hackers cracking it. Where there has been hacked software there have also been people perfectly willing to use it, thus breaking the law. So it was obvious that this was going to be the case with the App Store, Apple’s immensely successful market place for iPhone applications.

Up to now, there hasn’t been much in the way of counteracting the use of cracked apps. There have however been the obvious methods such as informing the site hosting these illegal apps, so that they can be taken down, but nothing substantially effective.

Ben Chatelain, the developer of the app “Full Screen Web Browser” has now taken steps to protect his app from piracy, but within days of its initial release on the App Store, Ben received a notification via a Google alert that his app had been cracked and was being re-distributed by Appulo.

Ben, obviously furious that his hard work was being ripped off, did some research and came across an interesting blog posting that offers information on how to protect your app by making it crash if it detects that it has been cracked. He was apprehensive to try this method as he wanted to avoid the app crashing for legitimate users, and more importantly, when being put through Apple’s screening process.

Finally, after a lot of thought, he came up with the idea he has implemented in his most recent release. The app actually looks to see if it has been cracked and sends out pings to a server with a device identifier, so that he may track illegal usage of his app. If the app has been cracked, the server controls a demo period, so after the app has been run ten times, the illegal user receives a pop-up that gives them the choice to shut it down or purchase it. He has even included an extra message to the pop-up which says, “Purchasing a legal copy helps support independent software development

and will help me feed my 1 year old baby.”

True or not, it may just appeal to some people’s better nature, and make them think twice about using illegally acquired software in the future, but it’s not likely.

-now that the permission are correct, you have to SSH into your iphone and add a file because the customize you downloaded form cydia or installer is not complete. download this file below and unzip it, And put the file customize2 in /Private/Var/Mobile/Library.

-now that the permissions and the file is complete you have to follow these instructions PERFECTLY in order for it to work.
-Reboot you iphone.
-go over to customize, turn off your wifi if your on an ipod touch or if your on an iphone turn it into airplane mode.
-enter customize, everything should be working.
-use it for a bit, maybe change the system strings if you want.
-exit customize.
-enter it again, then go to customize preferences.
-clear cache
-scroll down to the bottom of customize and press where it says “exit and restart springboard.”
-go to settings and turn on wifi again.
-go to customize and everything should be working, you can even browse theme files in theme browser. it might be a bit slow, so give it time to load, dont just quite it and think its frozen.

Run this code if it says “failed to save strings file” or any other problems like “Encountered an error copying the files” run this code:
chmod +s /Applications/Customize.app/Customize_

-if your not sure you have customize 2.1.1 you can download it here and put it in you applications folder in SSH.
