This is a new tool released that automatically downgrades your iphone 3g’s modem baseband to 2.28 which in turn lets you run the iphone 3g unlock codenamed yellowsn0w released by the iphone dev team.

search for it on google, or you can also go to modmyi.com and they will have a link for that.

Were talking about bootloader guys not baseband. The two are completely different things

If you bought it between Feb and April it has bootloader 5.9 although there might be an exception if the iphone has been in storage since a long time ago and no one has bought it or touched it. Honestly though you will never be too sure unless you check it yourself
