SlingPlayer Released Use Over 3G

Now we are not suppose to be able to use this over 3g but again the community has came up with a solution that lets you play live tv on your 3g network and you don’t have to be tied down to a wifi hotspot. Follow the directions below and thanks to crashx over at xsellize for the patch and iamse7en for the ipa.
1.download Voipover3G from cydia
2.ssh into your phone and locate Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries/VoIPover3G.plist
3.replace the plist with this one voipover3G slingplayer plist
4.respring and make sure if u have intelliscreen to turn power boost off
ENJOY live tv anywhere

This is a good day for iPhone owners.
The app is beautifully done, and it works flawlessly over 3G. If AT&T weren't such pansies, then many consumers would happily pay $30 for a full-featured SlingPlayer.
I travel tomorrow, and I look forward to watching the NBA games on the road. Just fabulous.

I have installed but the app wont open, keeps crashing to springboard as soon as I open?

You need a slingbox. It's very worth it.

the new ones are like 179.99 those are the cheapest and there is also a hd slinplayer that is 300 or so… Just buy one off of ebay if your interested.

A much easier way is to just install Tricker Three3G in Cydia. It covers voip, skype, and now slingplayer
