Yesterday afternoon another iPhone exploded when a security guard who was typing a text message. The screen split, causing slight injury to one eye.

Yassine Bouhadi has the unfortunate 26 year old who works as a security guard at a supermarket in Villevieille. We have repeatedly talked about these kinds of incidents that are occurring at a rate quite close in recent months. So remember that the ‘European Union is already investigating these events, asking Apple questions.

It looks like an upcoming update to iRealSMS is going to be a great one. Reznor which is the publicist/tester for iRealSMS says he and the iReal team have been working very hard on this new update. One good thing is that the whole gui of iReal is being completely re-done, as if the gui we have right now isn’t good the next one will look a lot more professional like the apple stock sms gui and of course we will get more special features that iRealSMS always seems to have added. Real has submitted an iPhone version of Rhapsody to Apple for App Store approval, according to gdgt.

What you get is nothing less than full access to everything in Rhapsody’s catalog, including over eight million tracks, all of its radio stations, and the ability to create playlists on the fly. (The app also syncs with your account, so you can listen to playlists you’ve already created or browse music you’ve saved to your collection.) Unfortunately, you are unable to cache tracks for listening offline; however, this feature is intended for a 2.0 release if approved. The application will be free for $14.99-a-month Rhapsody To Go subscribers.

Its unclear whether Apple will approve this application since listening to music “duplicates” functionality already found on the iPhone. That being said Apple is facing increased pressure over its questionable handling of App Store practices.
