Incoming Call Contact Photo Like In Apple Commercial

August 16, 2009 :: Posted by - SoSly :: Category - News

I know many of you have seen apple commercials and enjoy watching them as they show you what all the iphone can do. A user named ipodtouchpro over at sinfuliphone noticed a little picture on the top right corner of the iphone when someone called during the apple commercial but we could never seem to get that as we get the whole picture on our screen if we set a contact pic. Just follow these simple steps, so you can look like an apple pro. Although who looks at a pic while on a phone call anyway??

To get the small picture on the top right corner instead of the whole contact pic when someon calls just resize the photo your going to use as a contact pic to 64×64.

TomTom for iPhone Appears in New Zealand App Store

August 16, 2009 :: Posted by - SoSly :: Category - News

Four regional versions of TomTom’s much-anticipated iPhone GPS application have appeared in Apple’s New Zealand App Store: U.S. & Canada, Western Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Pricing is as follows (Users should set their iTunes Store to “New Zealand” prior to clicking the App Store links.):

- U.S. & Canada [App Store]: NZ $124.99 (US $84.41)
- Western Europe [App Store]: NZ $179.99 (US $121.55)
- Australia [App Store]: NZ $104.99 (US $70.90)
- New Zealand [App Store]: NZ $119.99 (US $81.03)

The App Store application prices obviously include only the iPhone application and not the companion car kit that will integrate a car mount, enhanced GPS receiver, built-in speaker, and power cables. The kit will also include an audio output jack, as well as a microphone to enable use of the iPhone as a Bluetooth speakerphone. A package supposedly containing both the hardware and software components appeared for pre-order early last month priced at £99 (US $163.39) plus taxes at UK retailer Handtec, although the legitimacy of the offer remains unclear.

It is unknown whether the applications’ appearance on the New Zealand App Store is the first phase of a rollout to multiple countries or if the release was a premature addition.

Safari Download Manager 1.3.1-1 Download

August 16, 2009 :: Posted by - SoSly :: Category - Cracks

This extension brings a full download manager to Safari, complete with running and controlling multiple downloads, accessible via a new toolbar item. This is an improvement on other existing extensions that take over the currently displayed document to display status information, hindering your navigation. Safari Download Manager (SDM) allows you to continue browsing while downloads are taking place (and can even download in the background, as Safari

will not exit if there are any pages loaded).
Users can configure filetypes to download and add their own extensions and mimetypes to the download list.

Download Cracked .deb HERE

Download SbSettings Toggle HERE

  • Rename downloaded file to SDM.deb or whatever you like

$1000 Japanese Hand-Crafted iPhone Cases

August 16, 2009 :: Posted by - SoSly :: Category - News

Despite being able to choose between an enormous number of super-advanced cell phones for years now, the Japanese have come to embrace the iPhone. The number of iPhones in circulation is estimated to have topped the 1 million mark quite some time ago, which triggered SoftBank BB (a sister company of Japan-exclusive iPhone provider SoftBank Mobile) to start offering something very Japanese and unique today: handmade iPhone cases [JP] priced at $1,000 each.

The so-called JAPAN TEXTURE [JP] series consists of a total of five cases with different designs. Created under the supervision of a historian, SoftBank says each case is covered with special lacquer and gold dust. It takes three to four weeks to make one, which kind of explains the price.

The main idea of these cases is to show how Japanese warlords from the Sengoku period would probably use their iPhones if they lived today. Each case comes with a specially designed pouch, a booklet explaining the historical background of the design and a storage box.

Sony Interested In iPhone Like Dev Program

August 16, 2009 :: Posted by - SoSly :: Category - News

PocketGamer has reported an interesting article in which you can read the draft of Sony regarding the PSPgo. The company is in fact trying to increase the number of developers, making even simple games by offering a very cheap price, similar to those found on the AppStore.

It will start from € 1 up to 5 and that should encourage users to developers. In addition to Microsoft, even Sony is trying to expand with its “AppStore” convincing developers to create iPhone-specific applications for the PSP.

The system will not fail an approval process but will be mainly focused on quality control.
