Saurik Creates New Ecid Grabber Using Cydia For Easier 3G S Jailbreak
Following the update of Cydia, you may have noticed a new “Home Page” through which Saurik promises a “simpler life” with regard to the future Jailbreak your device. What happens when you accept?
In the past, we provided several guides in order to save the ECID of your iPhone or certificate that will allow you to install a custom firmware even if Apple will change the process of checking the authenticity of the software.
In principle, the process to save the ECID is simple but now Cydia unable to do so automatically, by clicking a button. Your certificate will be saved to the server which will be Saurik’s “warehouse” for all users.
When the DevTeam releases their new jailbreak software it will send a request to the server and if your Saurik ECID is present, the jailbreak release will take place without any problem.
In this way Apple can never stop in any way, the Jailbreak your iPhone 3GS.

hey guys, i accidentally hit the i hate jailbreaking. go away tab and now the make my life easier option isn't available…..i even tried running redsnow again and still not there……any way to get this choice back bc i do want to register it?

At the bottom of the main page is text under Credits. Click on the word "developing" to get the option back again.

the first bitmap screen did not even appear after upgraded Cydia. How to do with that?

now my cydia is not working at all….just flashes and goes back to springboard…i see on twitter this is happening to many people but is it an update problem or can it be fixed….thanks MOD.

I did the exact same thing and the click on developing to get it back is not working. Anyone know how to get it back?

Just tap on about cydia and re activate it… Look for how to get it back as someone posted how to get it back here I just can’t find it

well there seems to be no solution to getting the signature mechanism link back on cydia. Been looking everywhere. should I upgrade to 3.1 from 3.01 to see if it shows up after that?

You can upgrade and you will be able to do the shsh ecid certificate for 3.1 saurik tweeted that yesterday so it is safe. Do take note that upgrading will disable the tethering hack.
