Operation is very simple, in fact, after you install the application, just open the program and decide between three options:

  • Drive + iTunes, that will enable the iPhone as a hard drive from the PC / Mac or from iTunes;
  • Default: the iPhone will be detected only on iTunes;
  • Drive Only: the iPhone will be detected only as a USB mass storage.

To ensure that the iPhone is detected as a hard disk, you must create a virtual disk. Simply click on “Create Disk …” and then choose the name and size to associate with the virtual disk. The directory of the virtual disk will be located in / var / Volumes /.

Caution: We recommend not installing this application on iPhone 3GS. Being a beta software might cause problems and prevent the recognition in bringing iTunes to restore firmware, as you know the iphone 3g is a luxury that not everyone can afford to mess up as some people don’t have ecid’s saved.

You can download USB Drive from this repository: http:// apt.dmytro.me. Beta 2 expires on 1 November.

    Yes you can always restore while in dfu mode, look up dfu mode on youtube and then after that you will have to set itunes to use sauriks server so you can restore to firmware 3.1.2 . That is if you used cydia to save your shsh ecid so do this

    * Windows: go to menu then Run Started.
    * Go to C: \ Windows \ System32 \ drivers \ etc \ hosts
    * For Mac: / etc / hosts
    * You must edit the hosts file with notepad.
    * On the last line, add: 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com
    * Save and close the file.

    Now if you didn’t have shsh’s saved with 3.1.2 then your screwed and have to restore to 3.1.3 sorry bud.
