Got I-phone? Get job!

As jobs remain top of mind in many homes, the need to access and capitalize on career opportunities has never seemed greater.
Understanding this priority, AT&T today launched AT&T Jobs for iPhone customers – a free app listed in the business category – that provides instant access to all current job openings across the AT&T network (www.att.jobs), including any openings in Atlanta.
As Georgia workers manage and explore career opportunities, AT&T Jobs is designed specifically with the individual in mind. The app provides a focused job search throughout AT&T, offering up-to-date career opportunities, local event information and more. The app makes it easier for candidates to connect with AT&T and, at the same time, customize their career search. For example, the app offers the following features:
• Forward open positions to family and friends or a personal e-mail address
• Locate and attend career fairs and events with AT&T personnel
• Identify local career opportunities, plus search for current openings
• Customize a job search by selecting personal areas of expertise
The app also reflects the growing trend among job seekers to utilize the mobile web to pursue employment opportunities in real time. In fact, according to a recent study published by Jobvite, 80 percent of companies plan to use social networking to find and attract candidates this year.
As has been reported, America’s economic strength, in large part, comes from the hard work of families and individuals in their everyday jobs. AT&T Jobs is about investing in this workforce, including in their own efforts that can help guide candidates interested in joining AT&T.

Perhaps it’s not that important what kind of a phone you have but as for having iPhone, it may turn out to be really helpful and useful in your job search as there’s no need for you to have your notebook around and a rather small phone is enough!
