Orange has declared their iPhone launch as a smashing success after selling over 30,000 iPhones on their first day.

According to T3, Orange started selling the iPhone at 7am this morning and by 4pm they had sold more than 30,000.

Apple Greatly Increases iTunes HD Movie Selection

November 11, 2009 :: Posted by - SoSly :: Category - News

Apple added a large amount of HD movies to iTunes this morning with little fanfare, according to MacWorld. There now are hundreds of new and classic movies available for rent or purchase in HD.

Headlining iTunes Store’s newly-stocked HD shelves are Wall-E, a pre-order for Star Trek (which was only available in SD until now), Hero, The Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, Knowing, Bolt, and many more. Plenty of classics have arrived in HD as well, including both Kill Bill movies, Short Circuit, Zoolander, No Country for Old Men, and what is probably my favorite B-budget sci-fi film: Cube.

MacWorld notes that most HD movies are available for purchase for $20 with few exceptions. At only 720p some of these movies especially the older ones should be pricing accordingly.

Our bad. New iPhoneClick the image to open in full size. 3GS’s have been modified, that much is true, but they can still be jailbroken (which is where we were wrong). The iPhone Dev Team is now saying that Apple may have killed the “24kpwn” exploit that allowed the current jailbreak to work, but it’s more of a bump in the road than an all-out roadblock against future jailbreak attempts. Worm Rickrolls Unsecured Jailbroken iPhones Via SSH

November 09, 2009 :: Posted by - SoSly :: Category - News

For the last few days, some jailbroken iPhone users have found their home screen background a little different than they remembered. A hacker, going by the name “ikee,” created a worm that changes the home screen background on jailbroken iPhones whose owners failed to change the default password after installing SSH. Simply jailbreaking your iPhone will not make you vulnerable to this sort of hack. The iPhone OS, in general, is also immune to this hack. Still confused? Let’s back up a bit.
