February 09, 2010 :: Posted by - SoSly :: Category - News

Last night MeDevil sent us the latest beta version of its program, iBlueNova. Now it is ready to be released and have to wait only a few days that we can talk Saurik for publication in Cydia Store.
In this new and final version:
- Resolve the timeout sending a file with authentication enabled
- Fixes an issue with the approval of the BT on 3G
- Completing the integration of licenses
- Fixed bug with opening files from iFile.
- Removed backgrounding native.

Can’t wait for this, so many times recently people have asked me to Bluetooth files to their non-iPhone device and I always have to explain how Apple have locked it down and how I’m waiting for this but the wait is nearly over.

Yeah your telling me, the only thing thats bad is your not going to be able to bluetooth ringtones back and forth because the iphone uses m4r as ringtones and most other phones use mp3.. Oh well if were bluetoothing iphone to iphone we can send each other our ipod music photos and videos very easily

Does anyone know if MeDevil will honor previous purchases of iBluetooth? I bought that way back when and now that this new version (renamed) is coming out I’m wondering if I’ll have to buy it.

@SoSly that is a shame unless someone comes up with a way to convert a mp3 track off another device to an m4r file. Which would be nice but I suppose it depends on the demand for the feature.
