Install Instructions:

  • After downloading the deb above rename it to bite.deb
  • Copy the file to var/mobile on your iphone, install using ifile or do the following
  • Open up mobile terminal on your iphone and do the following

  • Type in alpine (press return)
  • Type in dpkg -i bite.deb (press return)
  • Reboot or respring and enjoy

I’m still skeptical about laser projectors — while the technology is impressive, the practicality is still a little limited. And unfortunately, Microvision’s demo of their SHOWWX projector here at Macworld 2010 didn’t do much to change my mind. It’s a nice little device — it’s almost exactly the size of the iPhone, and the rep told me that most of the unit is actually the battery — and there are some good applications for it. But for the consumer market that Microvision really wants, the $500 unit (that will go on sale in March) is still a little too small in terms of scale and usability. Read more…

Some info on iBlueNova:
- iPod Touch 2g is supported (no support for iPod Touch 1g, since it has no bluetooth hardware). iPod Touch 3g support is experimental.
- iPhone 2g, 3g & 3gs are supported.
- Firmware 3.0 and above are supported.
- Music library is read-only, no received music or video will be saved in the library.
- iBluetooth licenses will STILL be valid for iBlueNova.
- 1 license = 1 device (doesn’t matter if you will use the old license on a new device).
- Release is near, we are defining the last items needed for publications.
- Downloading from cydia store is independent from purchasing on cydia store. This will allow you to download and try iBlueNova for 15 days BEFORE purchasing a full license.
- No previews are released to other blogs, follow iSpazio for iBlueNova images, videos or updates.
