Geohot has announced that he’s updated the BlackRa1n jailbreak to support the iPad!
Still no word on a release date; however, Geohot has posted an image of BlackRa1n and Cydia installed on the iPad.

I’m willing to wait until the new iphone comes out, but not everyone is as patient as me.. Everyone is their own person and that my friends is what life is all about!! Could care less about a jailbkeak but it sure would make my idevices a hell of a lot better.
