Nintendo President Dubs iPad and iPhone As ‘Enemy of the Future’

May 07, 2010 :: Posted by - SoSly :: Category - News

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has purportedly dubbed Apple’s iPad and iPhone devices to senior executives as the “enemy of the future,” according to the Times Online UK.

His words come at a time when Nintendo is witnessing falling profits, as millions own a DS and a Wii — and an iPhone. Oddly enough, Iwata’s remarks come little more than a month after Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime told Kotaku “Clearly it doesn’t look like their platform is a viable profit platform for game development because so many of the games are free versus paid downloads.” Read more…

May 06, 2010 :: Posted by - SoSly :: Category - News

Apple claims that the iPad 3G isn’t carrier-locked, but it won’t be able to connect to T-Mobile 3G. Why? And it’s been confirmed to work by several users with some handiwork and a T-Mobile SIM card on EDGE data plan. Read more…
