I’m kinda annoyed there is no 64GB version but oh well. I never really use up my 32GB. I always have about 3GBs left over anyway. But I would have liked a 64GB version to put ALL my media on the phone itself. I’m betting the new iPod will have a 64GB version…

Otherwise up against the HTC EVO 4G this ain’t bad. I’m definitely getting one. Why? My MAIN reasoning is it seems that the iPhone OS itself up against the adroid OS is more hacker friendly. Maybe I’m wrong I dunno. But I also like that I am grandfathered into two plans. The first is my 39.99$/mo for 1000 minutes plan and now the 30$/mo unlimited plan. So I am content with it.

I think your a bit off on a few things.

Firstly, I think 64gigs is slightly excessive for a mobile phone/device. With the ability to sync, ssh, and/or manage memory, their really shouldnt be a reason to go over 32gbs. Idealistically for backup purposes you want to store anything over 32gig on a fash or hard drive (external).

Secondly, as far as Droid vs. iPhone I think its ultimately about Hardware vs Software. Apple wins hardware in my mind, and it is up to you as to what OS you like more. People are rooting HTC’s but the funny thing is iPhone users have had root accessibility years ago. I personally think Android is awesome! But for the GUI just isnt to my taste, its far too one dimensional for my liking.

    Just my opinion.

I don’t think I was off in anything I said. However everyone is entitled to an opinion or two. I’ll stick by what I said. Doesn’t mean I do not want the new iPhone. However, I still feel 64GB would have been spot on. And as for Android. I like that OS but I don’t think I would like it for the long hail. iOS seem more my speed and it is also simple while being advanced.

Jacking the iPhone seems more workable whether the Android has been rooted or not. So that doesn’t really matter. I’m all about “ease of use”. so far the iPhone has been easy to use jailbroken since 2007 when I jailbroke my 1st gen iPhone.

Nice to read other people’s opinions though. :)
