iPhone 4 Pre-orders Being Shipped and Canceled
In the past 12 hours, we’ve begun hearing from readers who have gotten shipping notifications on their iPhone 4 orders. Keep in mind, just as with past overnight shipments of iThings, the shippers are scheduled to hold the phones for delivery so that they don’t arrive before June 24.
Meanwhile, a long thread over on the MacRumors forums cites the trials and tribulations of some would-be iPhone 4 buyers who had their preorders cancelled unexpectedly. It’s not clear exactly what circumstances led to the cancellations. In some cases, it may have been a missed checkbox on the order form agreeing to AT&T’s terms and conditions; in others, it may be a complex billing situation (family or corporate plan, an unpaid invoice) that caused the carrier to flag the order for in-store handling.

I actually got my confirmation email today saying it will be delivered by Fed Ex on the 23rd. But I know that they actually meant the 24th lol.

I haven’t gotten an email confirmation… Kinda wondering whats going on with all their problems with canceling orders and stuff but i don’t care. I still have a pre ordered on at the apple store so if they cancel my online order im going to the store to pick mine up.

I got a second email today about detailed tracking info from fed ex. It’s been picked up in Sheszen China or wherever and is currently on it’s way to the USA. Exciting stuff lol.

I hate you, I’m jealous.. I haven’t gotten any type of confirmation. Would suck if my delivery got canceled, that would mean I have to get up early to pick mine up from the store

I got my email on 6/22 saying that my phone will be at my place on the 23 before 3:00
