You’ve been waiting for the latest Stevenotes, we knows it, and here they are…

We’re all still reeling at the Apple CEO’s admonition to us all not to hold our iPhone by the left hand side, in order to avoid signal degradation.

But Jobs also quietly stuck his head above the wall to let us know WiFi sync for iPhone will come to us all, “someday” and to make comment on the missing Hold button…

A certain Rick Proctor asked his Steveliness is the iPhone would ever support WiFi syncing between it and iTunes on a Mac, and was told “Yep, someday”.

Over there at the Jonathan Cowperthwait blog you’ll also see Jobs response to questions about how people should use the Hold button now it has been replaced by a FaceTime icon.

Jobs, in customary form, told the blogger that in fact the hold button “doesn’t do anything more than Mute.” And you still have a Mute button, so there is is.
