MyWi 4.0 to Bring Wireless Tethering to iOS 4

Let me clear this up straight. No, the phone you see in the screenshot is not a jailbroken iPhone 4, but rather a jailbroken iPhone 3GS, running iOS 4. The iMovie app you see is basically a “broken” port which was being tried to run on non-iPhone 4 devices but had issues in the end.

Coming back to topic, MyWi 4.0 for iOS 4 is almost ready! and will be out later today. This new version has many new features, including battery and power consumption options that can save about 30% to 40% of battery! There is also an option to disable the blue pulsing tethering bar on top, which you can convert it into a status bar icon.
MyWi 4.0 will of course require a jailbroken iPhone or iPod touch to install and work. Stay tuned as we will let you know whenever it is ready – with a full guide on how to get it installed.
