Wal-Marts says it will offer the iPhone 4 on launch day, June 24th, along with several other retail outlets.
Wal-Mart has carried the iPhone before but this marks the first time it will have the iPhone on its first day of availability.

A leaked AT&T sign reveals that doors will open at 7am on Thursday June 24th to accommodate sales of the new iPhone.

A new report by iFixYouri suggests that although Apple claims the iPhone 4 glass is incredibly strong, it shatters very easily.
Apple says the glass is “chemically strengthened to be 30 times harder than plastic, more scratch resistant and more durable than ever.”
iFixYouri notes that 95% of glass shattering is caused by shock and sudden impact rather than bending. They decided to put the glass to the test.
We have a full iPhone 4(minus the circuit board), here at our shop and decided to do a little drop test. This drop was performed from 3.5 ft up. Mind you that these parts ARE original apple parts. AT&T! What’s not to love?! According to Gawker, hackers were able to access a script on the AT&T website that would give up an iPad user email address if the iPad ICC-ID’s were known. The hackers, part of a group called Goatse Security (OMG), used known ICC-ID numbers to create a program to automatically pull 114,000 email addresses including high ranking military, business and government leaders. For those with legit iPhone3G activation on 4.0GM seed, redsn0w from 2 wks ago can JB your device.
RedSn0w 0.9.5 uses the same pwnage2 DFU-mode exploit that’s been around since the 2.x days. Nothing new is revealed to Apple, and it’s not applicable to the iPad. Don’t go near it if you use yellowsn0w, ultrasn0w, or blacksn0w.
The iPhone Dev-Team also stresses that iOS 4 is only intended for developers with authorized access.

An unofficial PwnageTool bundle which allows you to upgrade to the pre-release of iOS 4.0 GM while keeping your jailbreak and old baseband has been posted by msftguy.
We strongly recommend not attempting this until the final version of iOS 4.0 is released and the iPhone Dev-Team posts the official update to PwnageTool.
