As you guys may know Apple is holding their yearly WWDC which sold tickets out in eight days. This years conference is said to mainly be focused on the new iPhone HD/4G, an updated Apple Tv, and iPhone OS 4.0. I’m sure a lot of you are on the edge of your seats anxiously waiting for it to start and see all the new gadgets and cool stuff Apple has to offer. Android 2.2 (Froyo) Ported to the iPhone

Android 2.2 (Froyo) has now been successfully ported to run on the iPhone 3G; although some features are still not working.

It’s likely that iPhoDroid will be updated with Android 2.2 in the near future; in the meantime, check out the tutorial we just posted today.

Unlocks For iPhone OS 3.1.3 And 4.0 Coming This Month

Just a quick heads-up that will probably stop the flood of questions about the unlock. MuscleNerd just said that they will release both 3.1.3 and 4.0 carrier unlocks this month and that’s that. Hopefully next time, you will think twice before you upgrade your firmware.

Google Goggles Coming Soon To iPhone

Back in December, we told you about Google’s Goggles, a visual search apps for Android devices. According to RWW , in a presentation Thursday at the Augmented Reality Event in Santa Clara, California, Google project manager Shailesh Nalawadi confirmed that the company’s mobile visual search tool would be making its way to the iPhone “soon.” Read more…

Order iPad by June 7th If You Want Unlimited Data Plan

AT&T is saying that they will honor the unlimited data plan for iPads ordered by June 7th even if you don’t receive it.

This news comes after a NYT article that said the company was discussing the move for customers who could not get a hold of a device due to demand.

According to an executive at the company, who would not be identified because the company’s efforts were still in discussion internally, AT&T was exploring allowing customers who pay for an iPad before June 7, but don’t get the device in hand, to still sign up for an unlimited data account. Restaurant Using iPad As Menu

Apple’s iPad’s off to a magical start in Australia, where diners at a top North Sydney restaurant can now order their meals using Apple’s device.

Global Mundo Tapas in the North Sydney Rydges Hotel yesterday introduced a custom-made iPad application which allows customers to browse the virtual pages of the menu with a sweep of their finger.

Diners can take a look at pictures of what is on offer and read detailed notes about the dish before putting the order together and sending it to the kitchens via WiFi. Read more…
