Add Symbols To Your iOS 4 Folder Names

July 01, 2010 :: Posted by - SoSly :: Category - News

I’m sure you all have your folders neatly organized with the apps you want in them along with the perfect name you could think of. Lets make your iphone even cooler by adding symbols in the name field. Some people have been asking how to put symbols in the names and its as simple as adding a bookmark to your homescreen.

All you have to do is visit http://mrgan.com/gb/ through safari on your iphone and push the little plus button on yout toolbar and then tap on add to homescreen. After doing so just open up that bookmark and it will be a web app along with 48 characters to choose from. Just tap and copy the symbol, then name a folder and paste your symbol and enjoy. Now your iphone looks even better than it did.

    However, I do not know whether it is possible to use it in countries other than Japan.
    Maybe, I think it is good as much as Symbols with copy & paste.

    You can also enable emoji and use those to name folders as well.
