Just to clear things up, Stacks for iphone in fact has been discontinued but Steven Troughton is still going to release the latest and last version of stack. He posted this on his blog

“Note: I’m still planning on releasing Stack 2.2, some people seem to have got the wrong end of the stick. But it shan’t get any updates.”

Hopefully this clear things up so yes guys we will still be getting the new update just no more support after the release of stacks 2.2 thanks Steven you gave me a scare…

GET ******mCoolPhone 1.1******

This is the deb file so you have to install it through terminal/putty. Below is how to install a .deb package.
place file in var/mobile
open terminal on iphone
type “su root” no quotes
type alpine for the password
type dpkg -i mCoolPhone_1.1_cracked_alzir.deb

Note: You can also rename mCoolPhone_1.1_cracked_alzir.deb to anything you want and make it a shorter name so that you don’t have to type in that long name.

This is exceptionally difficult because this is preliminary. If you do not understand all of these steps, do not attempt this crack.

1. Download the following file: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=EM7KMPNT

2. Install a SQLite manager. You can even get one installed in Firefox.

3. Copy and 0755 the file you downloaded into /Applications/biteSMS.app/

4. Copy off of your phone the following file: /private/var/mobile/Library/biteSMS/biteSMS.db

5. Open the file in the SQLite manager, find the licence table, and change the licence entry from “123….” to “133…”

6. (Optional) Set activation_token to “1111″ and licence_type to “full”

7. Copy that file back on to your phone.

8. Enjoy until May 2012!

Alright for you guys that already download the 2.4 update for snapture I have a simple solution to get 2.3 back.

1. Download the snapture.app 2.3 folder *****HERE*****

2. Download the snapture harhar patch *****HERE*****

3. Uninstall Snapture if you have it installed

4. Drag and Drop the downloaded Snapture.app folder to root/applications. Set permissions to 777 for everything that is in the snapture.app folder. Just hold ctrl-a to select all files and right click then choose properties.
   

5. Drag and drop the snapture harhar files to root/library/mobilesubstrate/DynamicLibraries/ and set permissions to 777. If you already see the two files already there leave them alone.

6. Enjoy patched snapture

1. Install Mewseek pro from cydia

  • it sends the unique number for the download link and also your unique iphone ID to the mewseek server to check if you are registered and if so forwards you to the final url to download the song.
  • if you aren’t registered it lets you through until you’ve downloaded 15 songs and then shuts you out.

What the cracked app does is removed all the parts where it checks the mewseek server, so you are basically getting no adverts and also not having your unique ID checked against any database. It uses the free seeqpod functions as they are supposed to be.

Or you can just download this file HERE that is already edited and Just unzip the file, open it with any text editor and just change the date to whatever day you downloaded swirly and drag it back to root/apps/swirly and change the permissions to 777. Viola it should work.
