How to jailbreak your iPhone 3GS on the latest 3.1.3 Apple firmware.
- Restore to firmware 3.1.3 on your iPhone 3G, if you haven’t ever jailbroken your iPhone go on to the next step.

- After downloading Spirit connect your iPhone 3G to your computer, and run spirit. It is a simple one click program. After clicking jailbreak give your iPhone a few minutes to jailbreak and it should reboot on it’s own along with a new icon on your screen called cydia. Cydia is a dpkg installer used to install thousands of 3rd party apps onto your iPhone such as nintendo emulator’s, video recorders, sms programs and much much more. Note: If you require an unlock do not upgrade to the latest apple firmware 3.1.3 as this will cause you to lose your software unlock if you have one.
