May 10, 2010 :: Posted by - SoSly :: Category - News

Appsidy, the in-Cydia payment system alternative to the Cydia Store, is shutting down.

Opened a little before Christmas 2009, less than half a year later marks the close of the Appsidy store. Recent Cydia updates addressing privacy (Appsidy used the UUID of your device to verify sales, as does the Cydia Store) broke Appsidy’s ability to function well within Cydia, and after discussing the situation, they’ve decided to toss in the towel. Springboard Rotator Released In Cydia Store

March 29, 2010 :: Posted by - SoSly :: Category - News

Springboard rotator has finally been released in the cydia store for $1.99. The tweak as of right now has a lot of bugs and conflicts with apps such as infiniboard, five i rows, stacks and many other cydia tweaks. If you have a lot of tweaks installed I recommend to not install springboard rotator as of right now.

Also if you would like to try before you buy add http://theiphonespotrepo.net/apt to your cydia sources and check it out if it works for you before shelling out two bucks. Don’t forget to support the dev if you do actually use this!

I spent countless hours trying various fixes out there, including the PushFix found on various cydia repos (which really just made things worse), manually installingpush certificates, and even trying to generate my own certificates.
