Multifl0w is a multitasking interface which displays applications that are running and allows you to scroll left and right between them for quick switching. It also includes a snapshot of each of the backgrounded applications. Runs with backgrounder (you can background application by holding the home button).

-Install backgrounder from cydia

Now after downloading the .deb file from above do the following

• rename the deb to multi.deb
• Copy the deb to var/mobile on your iphone
• Open up mobile terminal and do the following or install using ifile installer by tapping on deb
• Type in su (press return)
• Type in alpine (press return) you better change your default password
  
• type in dpkg -i multi.deb (press return)
• Respring or reboot and enjoy

SSHServices is a new Tweak available in Cydia, SSHServices aims to solve a problem that occurs only on some Jailbroken iPhone. If you are facing SSH timeout errors constantly this fix is for you. It must be installed only on devices that return a specific error when you try to establish a connection via SSH. The error in question is a sentence like: “Your Device is not Jailbroken, and SSH client shows only the files in the folder” mobile “without access to the” root “root.

iKee Worm, iPhone/Privacy.A and now iBotnet.A yet another malware for iPhone is identified. The first one was iKee, such malware changed wallpaper on iPhones. A video comparing text input of the iPhone versus text input using Swype has been posted online by TechCrunch.

Swype was created by the inventor of the T9 predictive typing system used on most phones today because he felt that new text input methods for small touchscreens are sorely needed. Today, the startup announced the first phone to use the technology will be the Samsung Omnia II on Verizon.

The video shown below is a side-by-side comparison of typing on the Omnia II versus typing on an iPhone. Swype lets you input text by literally swiping your finger from one letter to the next as fast as you can.

In the video Swype easily beats the iPhone; however, in my personal typing test I can easily beat Swype. In fact, I finished inputing the entire selection in about half the time it took the Swyper. (By the word ‘effort’ to be precise).

Perhaps Swype would be good for those with poor hand eye co-ordination as it doesn’t involve lifting your finger from the device.

The internet has been ablaze with reports of jailbroken iPhones being infested with worms. The exploit takes advantage of unwitting jailbreakers who install OpenSSH on their iPhones via Cydia without taking into account all of the impacts on security. The most notable, and now famous, hole in this theory is that every iPhone ships with the same default password for both the all-powerful “root” user as well as the more-restricted “mobile” user.

If you have the older 3g unrestrictor installed uninstall it and then install this deb.

• Rename the downloaded deb to ur.deb
• Copy the deb to var/mobile on your iphone
• Open up mobile terminal on your iphone and do the following or install using ifile
• Type in su (press return)
• Type in alpine (press return)
• Type in dpkg -i ur.deb (press return)
• Respring or reboot and enjoy

Lets you enable or disable unrestricting of apps.
Usage example: You are watching YouTube, but notice that your current 3G connection is too slow and loading of high quality videos takes too long. Use SBSettings to disable unrestricting and watch the video in low quality without having to start the config app and removing youtube from the unrestricted list

Ask to unrestrict (Disabled by default)
3G Unrestrictor can detect when an application MIGHT be trying to check whether its on 3G and will ask you whether you want to unrestrict it.

Multiflow is an app that will let you background apps and switch between them like the palm pre’s smooth scrolling os system. It is said that it may be released as soon as tomorrow. As you can see in the video below this runs pretty smooth on an iphone 3g so I can imagine you will have a pleasant experience with this app no matter which generation iphone you have. As of right now there are no details on whether this will be a free or a paid but I will update you guys as soon as any info is made public. In conjunction with its newly updated App Store software, TomTom announced it will release a car kit that will bring GPS functionality specifically to the iPod touch.

The new TomTom car kit for iPod touch is compatible with both the first- and second-generation iPod touch, and requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later. The hardware will be “available shortly,” the company announced this week.
