Similar to the last two years, AT&T sources say the company has put a block on employees taking vacation in June, according to the BGR.
The only time AT&T does a straight block like this is for iPhone launches. What’s interesting is, if AT&T is blocking June, perhaps the iPhone will launch a little earlier than July this year.
It has been rumored that Apple plans to unveil the new iPhone on June 22nd. Perhaps it will be available shortly after?

A French 3D modeler called Jpog has admitted to making the iPhone 4G back cover images with 3DS Max, reveals MobileCrunch.
It’s likely he used Photoshop to add the grainy spy shot feel to the photos.
While the images have been proven fake many are hopeful that Apple will extend its aluminum design to the iPhone; which would give it a nice solid feel similar to the iPad.

Apple will stick with its June launch for a new iPhone this year, with the next-generation handset scheduled to be released in just a few months, according to one Canadian wireless provider.
According to the Regina Leader-Post, SaskTel, a Saskatchewan-based wireless provider, will offer the next-generation iPhone starting July 1. That will be after the company’s new handset launches in June, said Robert Watson, president and CEO of SaskTel. Read more…

Geohot has updated his super simple jailbreaking tool called blackra1n to work with iPhone OS 4.0 . Although the official 4.0 Software hasn’t been released by Apple, George is just proving to people that he is still on top of his game. This updated version of Blackra1n has not been released and Geohot probably won’t release it until the iPad 3G version hits the shelves or maybe even late summer when the official OS 4.0 is released.
