This morning they received a report from a reader:

“Not sure if anyone [..] has noticed this same thing, but my Upgrade Eligibility date on my AT&T account switched from 11/21 to 6/21 in the last day or so. ATT Blocks Employee June Vacations

Similar to the last two years, AT&T sources say the company has put a block on employees taking vacation in June, according to the BGR.

The only time AT&T does a straight block like this is for iPhone launches. What’s interesting is, if AT&T is blocking June, perhaps the iPhone will launch a little earlier than July this year.

It has been rumored that Apple plans to unveil the new iPhone on June 22nd. Perhaps it will be available shortly after?

Apple to Announce New iPhone June 28-July 2?

December 21, 2009 :: Posted by - SoSly :: Category - News

Apple may have already booked the Moscone Center for their annual Worldwide Developer’s Conference. In previous years, the conference has been used to introduce new iPhone models.

AppleInsider has noticed that The Moscone Center Calendar lists a “Corporate Event” from June 28, 2010 through July 2, 2010 in the Moscone West hall. Previous Apple events have been reserved with the same title.

The original iPhone was released on June 29, 2007 and required an exclusive contract with carrier AT&T. It has since been rumored that this contract with AT&T could expire in 2010. If WWDC 2010 does take place on June 28, 2010, Apple might use the event to announce an additional carrier for the US.
