iPad Ships April 3, Preorders To Start March 12

Today Apple announced that the iPad will ship in April, writing that the device will “be available in the US on Saturday, April 3, for Wi-Fi models and in late April for Wi-Fi + 3G models. In addition, all models of iPad will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK in late April.” Consumers will be able to pre-order their units starting March 12th, with pick-up at Apple retail stores. Sanyo offers clock radios that work with iPhone/iPods

Sanyo has introduced a couple of new audio systems to the masses, with the DMP-P1 a Cube Alarm Clock Radio with an iPod docking station and the DMP-692 Dual Dock Music System, with two docking stations allowing two iPods or an iPod and iPhone to be played and recharged simultaneously. These stylish systems are sure to sell if the price is right which we’ll reveal at the end of the post, but in the meantime, do take a look at what both devices are able to offer to the consumer.
