Women Found More Likely To Give Their Number to a Man With an iPhone

A new survey has found that women are more likely to give out their phone number to men who have iPhones.

CultofMac reports that a Phones4U survey of 1,500 women found that 54% of them would be more likely to give their digits and date an iPhone owner than a non-iPhone owner and 37% said that owning an iPhone makes a man seem more reliable. Read more…

Blackberry Users Ready To Snag An iPhone

If a recent survey from market research firm Crowd Science is anything to go by, there’s dark times ahead for RIM, maker of the Blackberry smartphone. 40% of survey respondents said they plan to ditch their Blackberry handset for an iPhone when it’s time to upgrade. As if that wasn’t bad enough, another 32% of those surveyed said they’d be getting a Nexus One for their next smartphone instead of another Blackberry. Read more…

Is The iPhone Clinically Addictive??

The Ivy League brain-trust from Stanford University is trying to tell us something we already know, but with the backing of a formal survey to provide additional credibility. It turns out the iPhone is actually quite “habit forming.”

Nearly one-third of the two-hundred Stanford University undergraduates polled for this survey expressed fears that their iPhone is not only addictive, but that they could already be clinically addicted to their beloved smartphone.
