Apple has published an official statement of response to concerns at the iPhone 4 signalling problem. We have a feeling that some are going to be totally placated by this response while others will see it as a cop out, not addressing the easily reproducible data and call drops. The easiest jailbreak out to date has been unofficially updated to support iTunes 9.2. Some of you may know that the latest itunes update pushed out by Apple broke spirit, a program to jailbreak all idevices on firmwares 3.x. This update does not jailbreak iPhone 4 nor the firmware ios 4.0, it is just an update for it to be compatible with itunes 9.2.
Not a minute too soon. Pandora has updated the much loved music app for the iPhone to version 3.1 which will (drum roll) allow you to keep playing music when you move on to something else.
Of course this will only work on devices that support multitasking on iOS 4, which means the iPhone 3GS and the new iPhone available later this week. Read more…
Apple has pushed out the iTunes 9.2 software. This update is mainly focused for ios4 compatability but it seems apple has changed a few core things to break the latest jailbreak program called spirit. Hurray, it’s cat and mouse time again! iTunes 9.1 was just released, and it looks like Apple has taken yet another step (or two) in their endless fight against jailbreaking.

There is a problem with a particular source this morning. Signs point to it being Zodttd’s repo sending data that Cydia has a problem with. This causes Cydia to go into a crashing loop.
You should NOT need to restore your firmware to fix this problem. Please have patience, a fix is being worked on. If the coming solutions do not help there is still the possibility that a restore may be needed.
Update #1: Some good advice and instructions in the comments below. You can also try the FIXES AND SUGGESTIONS HERE, as the problem is the same as it was then. You must remove the zodttd source list that is causing the problem.

GeoHot has been working around the clock on this unlock and I must say has made the fastest progress I have ever seen on an unlock. Of course Geohot is a workaholic so when he says something is going to get done he doesn’t stop until he’s finished as you can see from the video above it took him 2 days i believe to get a working unlock on the new 05.11.07 baseband. To clear things up yes this will work with the iphone 3G and 3GS check out what was tweeted earlier
GeoHot tweeted earlier that he is going to be releasing an update to his wonderful 30 sec jailbreak. Blackra1n RC2 is going to contain some small fixes that people are having problems with when using RC1.
