Dashboard for iPad, AppStore Reject Goes To Cydia

SoSly – Just a quick not to everyone this is an actual app you have to open, but if you have activator installed simply set a double press home to launch this app using activator and now you have a nice experience.

Rich Hong made a pretty sweet Dashboard implementation for the iPad.  Except Apple rejected him from the AppStore. You know, for “contradicting the iPad’s user experience.” Well, that’s a new excuse, right? So what to do now? Ah, right – the iPad is jailbroken. Rich sent us Dashboard this afternoon, and it’s live on the ModMyi.com Cydia repo now – iPad only for free. Read more…

SmartScreen To Be Released Tomorrow

Wizdaz, one of the iPhone DevTeam members is going to release the SmartScreen application that will allow widgets to be placed on your iphone lockscreen tomorrow. You will be able to have your calendar, stocks, weather, news, twitter and multiple other things running on your iphone’s lockscreen. It is said that there will be a lite version of this app that will let you run three widgets for free on your lockscreen but if you want to run more you will have to pay.
