We, along with Techcrunch, have been getting reports that iPhone 4s are already out on the FedEx trucks being delivered as we speak. Some users even claim to already be unboxing theirs. Walmart got theirs today, so why shouldn’t everyone else?

The official packaging of Apple’s iPhone 4 has been revealed days before the product is set to launch, thanks to a photo taken at a Walmart where the devices have already arrived.
A tipster to Engadget sent the photo, along with the information that the iPhone 4 has arrived at Walmart’s storehouses.
The box labeled “CDMA” in the background is unrelated, housing an LG 290C handset. While rumors of a Verizon-compatible CDMA iPhone continue to persist, there will not be a surprise this week. Read more…

Apple has updated its iTunes privacy policy to inform customers that it will collect user data for iAds, according to an iLounge report.
“Apple and its partners use cookies and other technologies in mobile advertising services to control the number of times you see a given ad, deliver ads that relate to your interests, and measure the effectiveness of ad campaigns.” Read more…
The iPhone Dev-Team has released the iOS 4.0 jailbreak for the iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G (non MC).
redsn0w beta has been updated to hacktivate iOS 4.0 for iPhone3G (in addition to jailbreaking the iPhone3G and iPod Touch 2G).

A number of iOS 4-compatible apps are being distributed today, and now Apple’s iBooks application has gone universal as promised. The new version offers book syncing between the iPhone or iPod touch and the iPad, plus bookmark syncing (via iTunes) and a free copy of Winnie the Pooh.
The UI has a few subtle differences. When viewing the iBookstore from the iPhone, the icons across the bottom are Featured, Charts, Browse, Search and Purchases. On the iPad, they’re Featured, New York Times selections, Top Charts and Purchases. Read more…
The iPhone Dev-Team has released a new version of UltraSn0w which can unlock iOS 4.0.

Geohot gave a talk at Nuit du Hack explaining the history of iPhone hacking and revealed that there is an unreleased exploit in the bootrom of every iPhone, iPod, and iPad.
“There is also, I hinted to this a couple times, an unreleased exploit in every iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch in the bootrom to get code execution. And you know if I ever do another jailbreak, that’s the exploit I have. If you’ve seen I posted like a picture of 4.0 jailbroken. I posted my iPad jailbroken. All before Spirit was released. Not a minute too soon. Pandora has updated the much loved music app for the iPhone to version 3.1 which will (drum roll) allow you to keep playing music when you move on to something else.
Of course this will only work on devices that support multitasking on iOS 4, which means the iPhone 3GS and the new iPhone available later this week. Read more…
