Apple Releases iOS 4.0.2, Jailbreakers Stay Away
Its here everyone, Apple has released iOS 4.0.2 and yes this patches the jailbreakme pdf exploit. If you update to this firmware you can no longer jailbreak using comex’s jailbreakme miracle. If your already jailbroken stay away from this update and backup your shsh’s asap since Apple is going to stop issuing 4.0.1 shsh blobs soon.
On an insteresting note Planetbeing a dev team member has informed everyone via twitter that Apple didn’t bother to patch the pdf exploit for the 1st gen iphone in ios 4.0.2. Thats right we can finally conclude that Apple doesn’t care about the 1st gen iphone. To end on a good note you can still jailbreak the 1st gen iphone using jailbreakme.com, the only i-device that will jailbreak on 4.0.2
