As you may know the jailbreakme jailbreak uses a pdf exploit to execute code and take control of the device so that it can be jailbroken. Apple released a firmware update specifically to block the exploit but did not fix the vulnerability on the older ipod touch and iphone 1st gen.

A lot of old school users felt left out so saurik has created a fix for all i-devices and has released pdf patch in cydia. If your jailbroken and are not going to update it is recommended to install this patch immediately.

• search pdf patch and install, enjoy being safe thanks to Saurik.

We’ve always known that china has been the center of bootlegging. Any electronic you can think of has been knocked off by china. The iPhone 4 is no exception and as you can see in the screenie above they are really trying to profit off of the iphone 4. 9to5mac reports that it has gone too far, a website has gone up comparing the knockoff to the actual real thing (WEBSITE).

Now that we have the iphone 4 jailbreak along with it being an untethered jailbreak for all other i-devices it is very important for yout to save your shsh blobs. A lot of new people in the jailbreak scene don’t know what those are and its ok you don’t need to just save them. Your probably wondering what is all this shsh stuff. Basically whenever Apple releases a new firmware update for i-devices it doesn’t allow you to downgrade to old firmware versions. If you update to a new firmware and there is no jailbreak for it your stuck without, unless you have your shsh’s save. According to a company named tawkan the iphone 4 death grip makes your iphone 4′s radiation output skyrocket. Talk about bad pr for Apple after trying to recover from the death grip scare, this isn’t going to help. As you can see above tawkan has developed an app to measure the radiation output of 3 popular smartphone brands, the iphone, blackberry, and android.

The popular camera+ app had a lot of hype going for their next update. The next update was to bring a volume-snap function which would let you take a picture by pushing one of the volume buttons on your iphone. You can all say goodbye to that because Apple has rejected the update.

With all the speculation about an Apple ipod event coming soon this video is more evidence that it might be true. As you can see above, someone got a hold of a development ipod touch with apps that are used to test hardware and software before a big release.
